Microdacyn Wound Care

For the treatment of Chronic Wounds (including pressure, diabetic, venous) and acute wounds including burns. Microdacyn is non irritating, non toxic and can be used with all wound dressing types.

Microdacyn is TGA ARTG registered for use in the debridement and moistening of acute and chronic wounds, ulcers, cuts, abrasions and burns. The solution is indicated to maintain the moisture thus establishing an optimum microenvironment for wound healing.

Secondary antimicrobial effect achieved by the sodium chloride, sodium hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid is not due to pharmacological, immunological or metabolic means, but by physical process. Microdacyn can be broadly applied within a comprehensive wound treatment.

HOW TO USE

Apply Microdacyn Solution liberally to the wound to clean out any debris ensuring you are left with a clean environment for healing. Do not rinse. Cover with appropriate dressing and reapply the solution at every dressing change or 3 times a day. Can also be used to aid in dressing removal.

Use on it's own or together with the Microdacyn Hydrogel. The Hydrogel is designed to fight and prevent infection, inflammation and wound odour.
