The AQUACEL® Ag Hydrofiber® is a soft, sterile, non-woven ribbon dressing that combines the unique gelling characteristics of Hydrofiber® technology and the broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties of ionic silver (Ag+).

The absorbable hydrofiber® material forms a cohesive gel when in contact with exudate and provides rapid, sustained antimicrobial activity on demand. The versatile primary AQUACEL® Ag dressing is suitable for usage on moderately and highly exuding chronic and acute wounds, where there is a an infection or an increased risk of infection.
