The HARTMANN’s IV Infusion is indicated as a source of water and electrolytes. The Sodium Lactate Solution is also used in patients as a source of bicarbonate in the treatment of mild to moderate metabolic acidosis associated with dehydration or associated with potassium deficiency. The Hartmann’s Infusions ingredients include (3.17g/L) of sodium lactate, sodium chloride (6.0g/L), potassium chloride (400 mg/L) and calcium chloride dihydrate (270mg/L) in water for injections.
